Many Ethiopian traders woke up recently to find that Binance P2P adverts had disappeared. This sudden pause left thousands unable to buy or sell crypto through the platform.

Binance confirmed that it is working closely with local regulators to address parallel market concerns. The goal is to align with compliance policies while protecting user funds.

According to Binance’s official update, discussions with regulators have been constructive and similar restrictions have been seen across other countries.
